Does Safar Studio work without internet?
Yes. The Starter Offline Edition runs entirely on your Windows PC, so bookings, receipts, passport scanning and ledgers keep working during internet outages and load shedding. Hybrid Agency Pro adds online sync and a pilgrim app while keeping an offline fallback.
Is Safar Studio available in Urdu?
Yes. The interface supports English, Urdu and Arabic with right-to-left layout, plus a combo mode that shows English and Urdu labels side by side. You can also add your own language.
What do I need to scan passports?
Nothing extra to start: upload a phone photo of the passport or use a webcam. A USB MRZ or 2D barcode scanner makes it faster at a busy counter. Scanning runs on your PC, so passport images are not sent to the internet.
How accurate is the passport scanner?
It reads the machine-readable zone (MRZ) and checks it against the ICAO Doc 9303 check digits. Passport and CNIC numbers are only accepted when two independent readings agree. If the scanner is not sure, it asks you to confirm instead of guessing.
Can my staff change or delete invoices?
Only if you allow it. The role builder controls view, create, edit and delete rights per module, an admin PIN can be required to void invoices or issue refunds, and every action is recorded in the daily audit trail.
What happens if my computer breaks?
Your database is encrypted and backed up automatically. You can also back up to a USB drive or mirror backups to a Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox folder. On a new PC you restore the backup with your recovery code and we move your license.
Is there a free trial?

What is the difference between Starter and Hybrid Agency Pro?
Starter is a fully offline desktop app for your counter. Hybrid Agency Pro includes everything in Starter plus a pilgrim mobile app, a branded agency website with domain, managed hosting, online sync with offline fallback and continuous maintenance.
Does Safar Studio connect to Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo?
You can paste PNR or e-ticket text from your GDS and Safar Studio reads the flight segments and adds them to the booking. Custom live GDS and API connectors are available in the Sovereign Enterprise plan.
Can I export my data?
Yes. A one-click master Excel export gives you your records in an open spreadsheet, so your data is never locked in.
